August 08 Up for 48 hrs, and i wasn't playing my 360!It's very rare that at my age i ever stay up for 48 hrs. Pretty much never. This is the end of my run and thought i would share my reason for this study in sleep deprivation. I work at night and get off of work around 3-4 a.m., Today was my youngest daughter's first day of kindergarden and i knew i could not miss this. To insure i would not miss this i stayed up after work till it was time to take her to school. I don't think missing something like this i would ever get over..so i didn't. Everything went smooth ( a little crying when we left) and she was perfectly fine and happy when we picked her up this afternoon. There are still things more important to me than my gamerscore and website....there is nothing in the world that would have made me miss this very special day for my daughter. I love you Dorothy, and i will always be there. I promise, no matter how tired i am, how busy i am, I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU!

  August 03 Thank you to our membersThere are so many of our club members to thank for their time spent representing our club. I don't think i could list all of the names and wouldn't want to leave anyone out. Between our club members and other outside help our clubs name has begun to peek people's interest. I attribute this to all the hard work that these people have done. I know everyone is doing their part to help so i want to take this chance to say "thank you". Our club is nothing without the people in the gaming community, Keep up the good work guys and let's make this dream a reality. August 02 Clearing up the confusion.I would like to take this time to clear up some issues that are commonly misunderstood reguarding our "club" and membership to it. Our club is exclusive to those 10k in gamerscore and up. Our website/forums are open to everyone for viewing and activity. You do not have to be a member or affliated with xbl10kclub to use and browse our forums, these guys are putting up useful information for all 360 gamers. We are not here to put ourselves above anyone else. Our goal is to promote unity in the community. We welcome all to come hang out with us at www.xbl10kclub.com . Hope this clears up some of the confusion about our "club", if not feel free to contact me.

RODSMACK July 28 xbl10kclub dipOk i know this sounds weird, but you go to try and make this dip the next time you got the late night munchies. This dip is a favorite among many of the 10k members.
Ingredients:
1 lb. of mild pork sausage
1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz.)
2 packages of cream cheese ( each is 8 oz)
Directions:
Brown sausage in a skillet/pan till brown and drain excess grease. In a crock pot or stew pot put tomatoes and browned sausage on low-medium heat. Season to taste and add any extra ingredients (onions,peppers,etc.). Put in cream cheese and cover. Cook on low-medium heat stirring and mixing cheese ever so often. Cook until hot and serve in a bowl with tortilla chips. Hope you all like it. July 14 Our first official mention.We have our first official blog on a Microsoft website. The Xbox Live 10k Club is an organization that was created by real life and online friends for mature gamers who enjoy playing for achievements.
